From agents who never, ever do what they say to an agent who did not submit my offer to purchase for over 4 days after saying she would submit it - ( I had to go to the agents office literally demand my paperwork - the Broker in acted in a physically threatening manner & verbally abused me - I took it to the sellers agent and it was accepted that afternoon - they were considering other offers), to losing a bid on a property in the last 30 minutes by 1% to MY agents SON (hmmm) to an agent who literally attempted to distract me during an entire home inspection (from his inspector - who "missed" over $8,000 of defects - that I found the next day... The last agent I interviewed - a "Top Broker" in Raleigh blatantly lied to me several times during a conversation about factors determing market value then became abusive & condescending when I correctly explained that past tax value does not factor in determing current market value Look I could go on for hours... In fact over 12 years ago I won one of the largest lawsuits of its type against a Real Estate / property manager - so I, unfortunately, consider myself an expert on the problems with Real Estate agents - in North Carolina.
